Hope

Carried by the strength of the mother, looking up to the infinite light.

Linde Ergo's images speak a universal language. They show us human emotions hidden in the depths of us. For Linde, the living model is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and the impetus to create. She kneads her clay with finesse into frail, brittle or passionate figures. Once they have their typical subtle appearance, they are ready to be immortalized in bronze.

Artist: Linde Ergo

Sculptress Linde Ergo grew up in a family of artists. She discovered her passion for modeling quite young. Linde studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. In 1992 she moved to New York where she lived and studied at the Sculpture Center for 7 years. There the maturity of the action and the mastery of the matter came to full development. It was therefore in Manhattan that she exhibited for the first time. Linde Ergo's oeuvre consists of variations of small and life-size sculptures in bronze.
