Trammelant, the biggest event in De Haan, will now always take place on the first Saturday of August, regardless of the date.
Until now, an exception was made when that Saturday fell on August 1st. As of 2026, De Haan is dropping that exception. This means that from now on, Trammelant will consistently be held on the same weekend every year.
This new arrangement provides greater clarity for visitors, residents, and local businesses. Everyone can now plan well in advance for Trammelant. The first edition under the new rule will take place on Saturday, August 1st, 2026.
